@RegGuy @benroyce You didn’t lose everything to socialism. You lost it to authoritarianism.

Authoritarians can use socialism or oligarchy to make themselves the sole proprietors of wealth in a nation. USA is going the oligarchy route. Cuba and China went the socialist route. Russia started with one then switched to the other!

This is an important distinction IMO. Giving everybody in a country healthcare doesn’t turn it into a dictatorship.
