The irony of Rust being great for software on embedded devices is it often takes a long time to build stuff on lower-end hardware like the PineTab 2. That's the main reason I gave up trying to use it and just used C++ for Qt stuff (I don't want to be tied to my desktop and sometimes want to use my PineTab 2 instead since it's easily portable and I don't remember when I used my laptop last, maybe a few years ago).
