Increased delays, costs and paperwork reported by musicians trying to enter #USA for touring performances. Affected disproportionately are indie and mid-tier artists who do not have corporate resources to expedite visa processing or book tour dates in our isolationist nation far enough in advance.

US Citizenship and Immigration Services (#USCIS) raised visa fee increase from $460 to over $1,615 per #musician just to file an application that may not even get act in. Bands have faced increased logistical delays including Napalm Death and longtime touring act UK Subs, were held in cells for 24+ hrs and made to fly back home from #LAX airport. Other musicians unable to enter #USA include FKA Twigs as well as acts performing K-Pop , Canadian Metal, and even a Swedish Rapper.

Similarly, metal acts Orange Goblin and Napalm Death have reported facing visa challenges and unexplained delays, jeopardizing their U.S. tours.
