I don't really appreciate the new trend of sharing pictures from family events via #InstantMessaging (namely #WhatsApp). What people don't realize is that the pictures are so compressed and their quality so degraded that they're useless beyond viewing them in the app.
@sesivany sometimes I tell people to click on the HD option to send photos at their original size, they are like “oh cool i'll do that” and then completly forget the next time
@remidu no wonder, they design it the way that makes sure it isn't used by people as the primary option.
