@ruari I really wish I could commute by uni, but I can't put a 36" on the bus bike rack, and it would be ~3 hours going the long way around the bridge with NO FSCKING BIKEPATH OPEN. There's a bikepath on the bridge. It is paved. It has the centerline painted. There is no connection to it because either the provincial or federal government is responsible for connecting it to a road/bikepath (I forget which) and they've not done it yet.
@uninick That really sucks. Commuting is one of the highlights of my day!
@ruari Mine too! I can sleep on the bus, and I get ~40min of walking in going to/from bus stops. Good podcast listening time ;)
I should fix up a bike sometime so I can ride in summer (I think they take the bike racks off the busses in the winter here, but the bikepaths in Montreal are open year-round).
