I know #sportsball isn’t a big deal in the Fediverse, but here is a glaring example of how bad racism is among police officers. #TyreekHill , an all-star #NFL football player, got violently taken out of his car, forced to the ground, and handcuffed for a traffic violation.
His teammate Calais Campbell (also black) came over to defend his teammate and ask what the cops were doing. So they handcuffed him too.
Tyreek was asked after the game about the mistreatment, and he said this: “‘What if I wasn’t Tyreek Hill?’ Like worst-case scenario. It’s crazy.”

So triggered by the Tyreek Hill news this morning. Imagine being handcuffed, dragged around and forced to lay down face first on the road - for a traffic violation? Like a speeding ticket???
