I am not a character sheet guy. I generally find overengineered character sheets to lead to too much focus on the wrong parts of the buttons and levers. It usually indicates a game which has been poorly engineered for straightforward expressivity.
If you can put the character sheet on a 3 x 5 card, I'm generally happy.
Normally I'd cite #Wushu here but I'm going to go with the 5150 character sheet instead.
Now, that character sheet is deceptive. There are literally five lines that are worth knowing, and the rest is just record-keeping space for jotting things down as you go – plus the rest of your party each get one line each, because that's all it takes to really specify a character.
Simplicity. No fancy graphics. Just the facts, ma'am.
