@jon @Vivaldi I installed it the first day it was available, works great. Again thank you for pushing for it and @ruario for making it happen!

@sesivany @Vivaldi @ruario , thanks for the push. Happy to be there. Hope you will help us spread the word!

@jon @Vivaldi > NOTE: This package is not officially endorsed or supported by Vivaldi Technologies.
This statement made me stay on the traditional model.

@jalmari @Vivaldi , the package is provided by us, even with that string in place, but feel free to use any package you like!

@jon @Vivaldi it's good to know! Before I knew this fact the disclaimer did make it sound like a not good option. 😉

@jon @Vivaldi Thank you so much! I've been waiting for this for a looooong time.

@jon @Vivaldi Yes. I was waiting for this for a long time...

@jon @Vivaldi I am indeed, from day 1. Works great. 💪 :vivaldi:

@jon @Vivaldi Was a version of Vivaldi patched to allow Flatpak to provision the userns sandbox like the Chromium flatpak, or did it use the workaround employed by the Google Chrome flatpak?

@jon I still wish I could self-host the sync engine.

@jon @Vivaldi I never recommend installing proprietary software, no matter from which source. Even less so when it's as critical as a web browser.

@jon @Vivaldi
I found about recently and switched as soon as I found out. It works great, even stuff like passkeys work with no issues (even in a specific case where it doesn't work on the firefox flatpak).

It works a bit better than the distrobox setup I had prior.

Also just curious, but is there any specific reason it isn't verfied? Like does something not work?

@enthusiast101 @Vivaldi , thank you.

We are testing things out a bit. We also had to accept the Flatpak sandbox instead of the Chromium one. @ruario can explain more.

@jon @Vivaldi I really hate flat packs. But I do like Vivaldi!

@exahamza @Vivaldi , of course. That is what you find when going to our site.

@jon @Vivaldi Does the flatpak app have permission to read system fonts by default?

@jon @Vivaldi

Thank you for providing a Flatpak.

Over the years there were Linux distros that were amazing that I couldn't use because they didn't have Vivaldi pre-packaged.

I appreciate the hard work you do!
