I often lol when people complain that they have to read subtitles when watching foreign movies. Dude, be a Malaysian. Our movies in the cinema have three rows of subtitles in 3 diff languages. Imagine understanding all 3 and reading them all at once while trying to focus what's going on onscreen.
I think our brains have become mutants because of this.

@ajlewis2 Yea I spent most of my growing up years squinting at subtitles! Watching a show without one felt weird at first
