Yesterday I found out there there are several territories & countries with 30 & 45 minute shifts in time zone.
I then fell into a spiral of imagining what life would be like to LIVE in one time zone and WORK in another. Or cross it daily for different reasons.
I mean, this has to happen to millions of people daily, right? It sounds CRAZY.
It's like daylight savings time EVERY DAY or something!?
Does anyone know anyone who has to do this? What is it like?????

@ZeNeece I live in Alabama and regularly work in GA. Usually, it means I have to wake up super early to get to where I need to be on time. I also have to take great care when entering stuff on my calendar because it defaults to Central time. So if I have an appointment email and I click “add to calendar,” I then have to go in and manually change it to Eastern time. On the bright side, if I’m at one of the places in GA I go to regularly, it’s about 45 minutes away. That means when I go home, I arrive 15 minutes before I left. Leave GA 4:30 PM, arrive AL 3:15 PM.
@adhdeanasl It sounds crazy! I can't imagine being able to handle that without being constantly discombobulated.
Oh. Wait, I am perpetually confused anyway, so I guess it wouldn't make too much of a difference, lol.
Still, I am amazed at this. And it's ok? You can handle it?
@ZeNeece I can handle it. Been doing it for close to 10 years now as a freelancer, and I’ve only had a couple mix-ups. I just have to check and re-check everything.
@adhdeanasl I am in awe! Thank you for letting me know! :)
@ZeNeece this seems scary
@JamesTDG lol, I think it would just be soooo confusing!
