The #AppleEvent might be over...but the best news for Apple fans are yet to come.
Vivaldi Browser, coming soon to your favorite devices.
is there a Testflight? Can we beta test now?
@jlgatewood our iOS preview was released in May, but it's unfortunately (or fortunately for us!) full. Stay tuned for the stable release!
@Vivaldi been a looooog time coming for my favorite browser to finally come over!
@jlgatewood @Vivaldi it's pretty good already, haven't used it too hard but so far even the beta has been flawless.
@AlexTheStampede @Vivaldi chomping at the bit over here!
@Vivaldi ironically, I just looked at my old iPad a couple of minutes ago wondering if I could get Vivaldi onto it.
@Vivaldi Can you add the extension in the Android app. Because the extension is very useful like Kiwi Browser
Hi @NanCheng7!
Maintaining extension support is complicated and unlikely to be added to Vivaldi.
What kind of extension(s) would you like to have? Perhaps there's a built-in feature your goal can be achieved with.
@Vivaldi I would like to have a built-in feature to be able to select the port to connect to the machine in order to turn on my VPN proxy. In this way, you can avoid wasting resources when visiting different websites.
That's unfortunately not possible on mobile.
On Android, VPN connections are made mostly, if not exclusively, on the OS level.
@Vivaldi ok thank you for your reply
@Vivaldi What's the minimum supported iOS version?
@tommyc Vivaldi is supported on iOS 15 and above.
@Vivaldi I can't wait for the stable release. vivaldi will be my daily drived. all I need is an ios relase.
@Vivaldi those bastards lied to me
