I'm a former US Navy submariner (reactor operator), worked in tech for many years before retiring with my husband of 30 years to his childhood hometown in Minnesota.

Always advice people to move to an instance where the admins:
- Don't 'constantly' rant a lot about their personal/political views & issues.
- Don't let their political and personal biases influence their judgement when moderating content.
- Don't let their political and personal biases influence what instance to block.
- Don't allow Content that's blatantly unlawful, hateful, and encourages harming or incites violence.
Finally, AVOID instances where the Admins are psychotic. You always know.
