No matter how many people voted for him they did not vote to have their democracy replaced with an autocracy. Once it is clear that is what you have, then you have had a coup and the government is illegitimate.

Here in Norway we were literally invaded, the line between before and after was clear. For the US it will not be as clear. The voters did give this government a wide and devastating mandate, but that mandate did not include creating a dictatorship. At some point that line might be crossed. There is a reason why the US always struggled with who was a “freedom fighter” and who was a “terrorist”, it all comes down to who you think is the legitimate government. And that isn’t always clear. And tbh might also change over time. But one thing is for sure to me: under fascism, punching a Nazi is patriotic.

They are putting a probable Russian asset to lead the US intelligence community, a child sex trafficker to lead the justice department and an antivaxer in charge of healthcare. Y’all. None of this is normal.
