I’m seeing news reports that #AllenWeisselberg could be prosecuted for insurance fraud. Presumably the threat of that is leverage to get Mr. W to rat out #Trump as the instigator of the fraud.

Assuming that Mr. W provided false information to an insurer with the intent that the insurer should act upon that information, those stories are correct. It matters not that the insurer may never have paid a claim.
