@BeAware@social.beaware.live So what I want to know is if the second one is a case of having lost interest in the thing or not. Because for me, I often don't lose interest in my interests, and can actually remain quite passionate about them when engaged, it's more that my attention/focus is distracted by newer things, regardless of how much more or less I like them than the older thing(s).

Other times, if it's something that requires work, like a big writing project, I can set aside time to work on it, maybe even pull up the files, and then feel like a car stuck in neutral, revving the engine like mad but getting nowhere physically. I desperately want to do the thing, but that emotion/intention remains locked in some bubble or something.

And does being make it different?
