But that aside, do your significant others or family share, accept, or flat-out despair of your love of cycling and all that this might entail?
@ascentale @pete @bikenite #bikenite A4. That's a very strange perspective. Bicycles are transport vehicles, and I can't understand people who throw a lot of money at them. My family are happy when I cycle, and my teenager will be cycling with me on an international ride from London to Amsterdam this August.
Perhaps this joke is about people who buy expensive sport bicycles? That's kind of a tiny niche.

Isn't that part of the beauty of the bicycle? It can be so many happy things to so many people which aren't mutually exclusive...
