個人的にはAs/Rのほうが好み。
TEのほうが拡張性高そう（オープンソースなので外部のアドオンをかなり受け入れている）だけど、デフォルトが比較的質素。As/Rはデフォルトでも若干機能性に優れていて使いやすい。細かく弄るならTEだと思う。
