How important should being open source be to me? Or, more precisely, should the obnoxiousness of #mozilla management outweigh the closed source nature of vivaldi.
I've been trying #vivaldi as a replacement for #firefox, my default browser. I could easily switch to vivaldi.
BUT vivaldi is not open source.
I've read the explanation for why parts of vivaldi are not open source was not convinced.
Hard to "weigh" incommensurable concerns.
@MarvinFreeman Any alternative should grow from firefox code and gain mass when firefox itself goes irremediably wrong in their decisions.
Until then, I'll use firefox and dream about a really free (like in freedom) alternative
