There I was, innocently searching the word "melodica" online, and this is what I find:
@BigJackBrass 26 seems like a beatable record.
@eleanorrees Nice try, but I can resist such subtle encouragement
@BigJackBrass @eleanorrees Just think what the citation could look like. "He played 27 songs, including one fit for company and 26 of various degrees of smut…"
@RogerBW @eleanorrees A tempting goal, to be sure, but the fact that I am not Indian and do not live in India is likely to be an issue. Not to mention that I can't play the melodica.
@BigJackBrass @RogerBW Details, details.
@eleanorrees @BigJackBrass Do the record conditions say the songs have to be played well? Or even recognisably?
@RogerBW @eleanorrees I confess to only the most cursory research in this area.
@BigJackBrass Shine on you crazy diamond
@BigJackBrass Before you attempt to beat the record, you'll need clarification. Is he using his nose to provide the flow of air, or is he playing the keys with his nose?
@ridetheory You make an excellent point. I have found at least one melodica player who has made a video in which she uses her nose as an air nozzle for the instrument, as it were, so either is a possibility.
@BigJackBrass
Credit where credit is due!
@BigJackBrass with NOSE?!?!? the world is filled with wonders...
@BigJackBrass now THIS is what the internet was made for. (this and cat pics, of course.)
