Steven Kennard<p>What do think these birds are doing?</p><p>They were perched in the high branches of these tall trees, many of them with their wings spread wide. There is no sun for them to be getting any warmth from, just overcast daylight. There were several doing this, flying off again and then coming back to do the same again. I think they are crows or ravens, though at first I thought they might be bald eagles.<br>EDIT: Comments have shown us they are turkey vultures</p><p>Any ideas anyone?</p><p><a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/StevenKPosts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StevenKPosts</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/BirdsOfFediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BirdsOfFediverse</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/Birds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Birds</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/Question" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Question</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/Ornithologist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ornithologist</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/BirdQuestion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BirdQuestion</span></a></p>
