I don't think we had the movie, so I must have just imagined what it was all about, myself being born long after, in 1972. </p><p>Jimi Hendrix was always to me more like Superman. Everything else was just the Justice League. But Hendrix was Superman. </p><p>That's how I looked at it. </p><p>(FTR, that is to say [but, for one likes the point to be taken without having to use a laser], black, white, chinese, green alien, didn't matter. "keep the people honest? </p><p>Everybody's got their own problems of course, but Jimi Hendrix seems to be-- from a fan's perspective-- one of the coolest people to walk the planet in the last 200 years or so. </p><p>We've had films about Richie Valens and Plane Crash people. What else? <br />Man, where's the Hendrix film? <br />There's a big story there about his life, tour of duty, etc, artists he performed with before and after the Jimi Hendrix Experience. His relationship with Janis Joplin.
