m0bi❗ "Ze względu na wartość przyrodniczą tego obszaru w latach 90. wycofano się z planów wydobycia, jednak po latach pomysł powrócił i w 2017 roku wydano koncesję wydobywczą, poprzedzoną decyzją środowiskową, wydaną przez Regionalną Dyrekcję Ochrony Środowiska. Skutkiem ewentualnej realizacji koncesji byłoby zapadanie się gruntu na rozległych terenach, miejscami nawet o 5,3 metra. Te zapadliska zbierać będą wodę z okolic, powodując osuszanie sąsiednich obszarów. Ogromne ilości wody będą musiały być stale wyprowadzane na zewnątrz systemem kanałów i przepompowni. Zmienią się kierunki spływu wód, brzegi jezior. Powstaną rozległe zastoiska, m.in. na zmurszałych torfach w dolinie Tyśmienicy. Zmiany będą nieodwracalne i będą postępować jeszcze długo po zakończeniu wydobycia.
